Alex and Brittany were blessed with their wedding falling right in between the tightened restrictions! They were able to have 150 people attend their ceremony and it was such a blessing for them to be able to have their family and so many friends there. Their wedding ceremony and family photos also happened right before a huge storm rolled through!! (More about that later!)
Brittany got ready at her parent's place, where the wedding was being held. She had her best friends around her, as well as her mom and grandma, while the wedding came together just outside in the backyard.
Alex got ready with all of his best guy friends and headed over to the ceremony once they were ready! When they arrived at Brittany's family's property there was lots of family and friends there visiting.
Once the girls were ready, they made their way to the basement of the home that Brittany grew up in, gathered on the couch, and prayed over Brittany. It was so beautiful to witness and I was personally very encouraged!
The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Alex and Brittany couldn't keep their eyes off of each other and Jesus was so present in everything they did during the ceremony. Through the pastor's message, their vows, signing their license. There was SO MUCH JOY after they were married, and their smiles were so contagious!!
After their ceremony and family photos were finished we had a BUNCH of fun with their wedding party. There was dancing, candy, and lots of laughter involved!! Once we were done with their photos we all drove a few minutes away to the cutest little white church. It was slightly raining when we showed up and once I got Brittany and Alex set up in front of the church a HUGE gust of wind came through, Brittany held on to her hair and vail and yelled "I'm not having fun anymore!" and I said "Let's go!!!" It was absolutely wild and you can always count on Alberta storms to be INTENSE!
Because of restrictions they were not able to have everyone be at their reception and I headed home after grabbing some dinner and sunset photos after the storm had calmed down! It was such an honour to be at Alex and Brittany's wedding and it will definitely be one that I remember forever!
